Omikron Rosé by Zacharias Vineyards is a monovarietal dry rosé wine produced from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes, originating from Nemea (PGI Peloponnese).
Appearance: Bright rose-pink with soft violet highlights.
Aromas: Intense nose with dominant notes of strawberry and cherry.
Palate: Features a medium body, with a crisp and crunchy acidity that offers an intense sensation of freshness.
Vinification: Produced using the traditional rosé winemaking method. It includes pre-fermentation cold maceration of the grapes at a low temperature for 14-16 hours. This process allows the must to extract the desired vibrant color and the fresh fruity aromas of the variety before fermentation.
It ideally accompanies traditional Greek vegetable stews (ladera), pasta with seafood or light red sauces, poultry or pork and platters of rich cold cuts and yellow cheeses. Best served at 8-10°C.
